Akira Yamada started his career in Japan. He has worked for many high profile salons in Tokyo and London and New York, including the position as art director at the SHAKE hairsalon in Saitama. He pursed session styling for photo shoots and runway shows in London where he assisted the best hairdresser in United Kingdom Angelo Seminara(Streeters). In 2018 He moved to NY . He did a hair styling for many celebrities including Sam smith, Snail mail, Lucy Ducus, Grace Van Der wall, Parquet Courts, Daisy Lowe.

He moved to Amsterdam in 2022. And He immediately start working at Rob Peetom Elandsgracht as a Top stylist.

After He works there year and half, He decided to be an independent. Currently He is renting a chair at Kenvo studio in Jordaan.

Also He keeps working for many runway shows and fashion photoshoots including Milan, Paris fashion week and Haute Couture.
